MEET THE OWNER
Captain Ben Webb holds a United States Coast Guard, 100 Ton, Master’s Captain’s license and was born and raised on Anna Maria Island. With over 45 years on the waters around Anna Maria Island, he has the knowledge and the experience to make your tour one of your best memories of Anna Maria Island.
Captain Ben relates easily to both kids and adults, making him a wonderful guide, teacher and captain. He has always had great respect for dolphins in the wild and wants to help preserve them in their natural habitat for the current generations and those to come. Captain Ben is a dolphin boat captain following the DOLPHIN SMART guidelines.

From booking to boarding, our team is focused on making everything easy and enjoyable. Our office staff keeps things simple, our deckhands take care of the details, and our captains turn a boat ride into an experience.
Our licensed captains are on the water every day and truly know these waters. Guests often mention how knowledgeable they are, how much they care about the wildlife, and how hard they work to find dolphins and other marine life.
Our deckhands are right there with them — welcoming you aboard, helping throughout the trip, and making sure everything runs smoothly so you can just relax and enjoy your time on the water.

The Salty Dolphin 2 is based on a 27-foot Carolina Skiff, heavily customized to Anna Maria Island Dolphin Tours™ specifications and according to the regulations of the US Coast Guard for a 17-passenger certified tour vessel. With comfortable cushioned seating for up to 17 adults and full viewing in all directions, this is the perfect boat to get your large family or group close to the dolphins and nature found around Anna Maria Island and Egmont Key.
The Salty Dolphin 2 has a shallow draft making it perfect for easy landings at Egmont Key and a great boat to navigate the shallow waters of Anna Maria Sound. Seating along the sides of the boat offers great viewing in every direction. Two seats in front of the console are protected from the sunlight by our bimini T-top. Whether you want sun or shade, there is a perfect seat for you on the Salty Dolphin 2.
